The Home and Community Care Multicultural Advisory Service have developed cultural briefing DVDs called “In My Home” in the following languages: German, Italian, Indian, Croatian and Vietnamese. Each DVD contains photos, audio and video footage about the culture, including information about attitudes to aged care, communication, values, migration, food, leisure and customs, attitudes to health and illness, religion, and death, dying and rituals.
These DVDs are available free of charge to Home and Community Care services in Queensland only.
